DISNEY PARKS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: CAD PLANNER

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was working as a CAD Planner at Disney Parks Live Entertainment. Essentially, a CAD Planner at Disney is a Junior CAD Designer. I loved our department because it was extremely collaborative and worked closely to complete project work in a timely and professional manner.
As a planner, I took care of event drawings, permit drawings, drawings for submittal to certified engineers, assistance with capital projects, simple BIM organization, central model creation, 3D modeling, and 3D point cloud scanning. The primary program of use is REVIT with AutoCAD and Fusion360 also being used.
Unfortunately, because of proprietary reasons, I cannot show any of my work from Disney on this site as Disney owns that work. However, I am more than happy to discuss my learning experiences at Disney and how those learnings have prepared me to take the next steps in my career.
