ABOUT GAVIN

Gavin is an Atlanta Metro area scenic designer and art director working in theatre, film, live events, and immersive storytelling environments. He was born and raised in the small town of Auburn, IN, and received his B.S. degree in Theatrical Design and Technology from Ball State University as well as his MFA in Scenic Design from the University of Maryland.
Design credits: Current Theatre - The Wiz (Aurora Theatre), Sister Act (Georgia Theatre Alliance), Newsies (Young Actor’s Theatre). Recent Theatre: Hot Jambalaya (Dad’s Garage), Petite Rouge (Synchronicity Theatre), Human Museum (Rorschach Theatre), Men on Boats (University of Maryland), As You Like It (University of Maryland), and Later the Same Evening (Maryland Opera Studio). When not designing, Gavin enjoys adventures with his wife Kaitlyn (and their cats Frankie & Rosie), flipping the vinyl over on the turntable, rummaging through antique shops, attending any and every museum, trying a new coffee (or bourbon), and spending quality time with dear friends and family.
